Machine Types

The Machine Types page helps you view machine types (instance sizes) available in the console.

What are Machine Types?

Machine Types are the CPU, memory, and disk configurations offered by cloud providers for creating machines (e.g. shared 1 GB, dedicated 4 CPU). They are read-only: you can view and filter them to choose a size when creating a machine, but you cannot create or delete machine types in the console.

View Machine Types

The Machine Types table lists all machine types from your registered cloud accounts, with their attributes displayed in table columns. Use pagination controls at the bottom of the page to navigate between pages if there are too many types to display.

When table data is being updated, table rows are displayed in italic, and table controls become inactive. It may take time to load the next portion of data.

To refresh the table, use the Reload 🔄 button.

To customize attributes displayed in the table, use the Layout ⠇ button.

When there are too many machine types available, use the Add filters 🔎 button to fine-tune your search. See the Resource Filter documentation for details.
